2016 Taiwan Lantern Festival

The 2016 Taiwan Lantern festival was held in Taoyuan, transforming it into a multi dimensional light district with the Hakka Theme. The character shaped sculpture is designed and made by Rooster Lighting. The Hakka traditional characters. flower cloth, blue dye and other elements will also be merged into the new media art design.

Event Period: 22nd February - 6th March 2016 from 14:00PM - 22:00PM Daily 

Event Location: Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Qingpu Sttion Front Square to Qingtang Park. 

Lighting Design

We combine projection mapping technolog to sculpt light onto the Hakka Lion Head giving it character. We cast the expressions onto the face of the lion to add new depth to the design. Around the space, are five high lumen output projectors to give a full interior projection of other cultural elements. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the space.
