Architectural Landscape Lighting Design｜Tainan City Yuwen Branch

Location

Because of its historical origins, Tainan has deep cultural connotations in all aspects of food, clothing, housing, travel education and music. Because of this atmosphere, the local architecture should also be one which resembles this. A good example is the Yuwennramcj of the Tainan City Library which opened at the end of 2013. The design concept of the library is to embed a wooden box of books on the base of the clear water concrete. This wooden box contains abstract knowledge of human beings, and the external is covered with wooden slats to make clear the metaphor of the book spines. Lighting Design

To highlight the wooden slat facade, Rooster Lighting brightens it with a warm-white light. Outside the house is also a minimal featuring of landscape garden lights. The roof terrace is then complemented LED landscape lighting to give off a cafe-like atmosphere. The whole building is bathed in a warm light to provide visual comfort and a relaxing atmosphere while visitors gather their new knowledge. Rooster Lighting has always represented the interests of the designer and the end user. We take into consideration during our designing process, the needs of the user and define and visualise our merticulously calculated lighting plans.
