Road Lighting Design｜Kaohsiung City - Kaixuan Road, Yixin Road
Location
In August 2014, Kaohsiung, the Heart of the South Island had a major gas explosion which caused major heartbreak and fear for many of the residents. The explosion resulted in the destruction and burning of many of the public buildings and services along Kaixuan Road and Yixin Road. As a highly regarded lighting manufacture for Taiwan, Rooster Lighting provided the professional lighting expertise to co-construct and reconstruct the street lighting in this area. The aim was to deliver a safe environment with lighting to revive the landscape soon after the explosion.

Rooster Lighting cooperates with the Kaohsiung City Government to restore the overall public construction of the area as soon as possible. With an innovative lighting design using modular production methods, the simple light pole shape integrates into the surrounding environment and enhances the integrity of the landscape. The lighting has been evenly distrubted across the road to create a seamless lighting experience and reduce light damage to surrounding areas.
