Golden Tribe - Glorious Wu La Luzi

For a period of 5 weeks on Friday and Saturday evenings between the 1st of December and 28th of December in 2014, the Pingtung County Government launches the light show in Taiwu Village to promote the Golden Tribe - Glorious Wu La Luzi Christmas Season. The event site is seperated into four major themes and spaces including the Lzhiguang Dance Lighting Art Installation Zone, the Golden Light Shining Original Story Corridor, the Magical Carpet and the Wishing Pray for the Large Equipment Show. In this event, through our different lighting techniques everyone came to enjoy the coffee and participate in the festivities of the Christmas Season.

Projection Lighting Design

In addition to the container projections, Rooster Light also uses the large scale floor projections to create an interactive space. With the incorporation of sensors in our technology, our projections change based on the way people move through the projection lighting environment. At the entrance of the activity centre we use different effect films to cast water ripple effects on the pedestrian walkway. It allows the visitors to feel amazed and immersed in the magical charm of the activity centre.

In addition to the interactive ground porjection and water ripple effects, the original story corridor, large praying tree, deer light dancing device at the entrance are other major highlights of the event. The Qiancun Monument at the entrance of to the tribe uses colourful linear light to illuminate the monument and the ring, helping the tribe to read the text and the special symbolic imagery. On the right side of the entrance is the deer light art fixture made from our transparent acrylic. The are shaped to resemble the animals of the tribe. Let these deer become lively in the tribe! For the original story corridor we use the famous stories of Paiwan people to arrange representative patterns on large sequin walls; golden trees, story telling hands and birth stories. The stories shine in the night. The large scale praying tree also uses sequins to make the metal structure shine up like a christmas tree. The people can write their wish cards and hang them on the tree. With the illumination of the lights, let the Christmas tree turn into a focus of attention for the night.
