Tainan Legacy

With 80 years of elegant urban legacy, the Tainan City Government has restored the old style of the canal into a modern landscape full of new and colourful lighting which is sure to increase Tainan's international tourism.

Tainan is an ancient city with a strong history and culture. Through our design planning strategy we hope to preserve the local culture while bringing a new life and new imagery to the ancient capital of the night.

Lighting Design

Each night, the bridge becomes a visually rich lighting attraction thanks to the use of light carving techniques . The bright LED light sources enhances the beauty of the bridge through indirect lighting methods to create a new night view of the canal. Every night there are new lighting effects and scenes which bring new variety and value to the night time scene and the urban space surrounding the canal. 

As well as providing outdoor luminaire to the cite, Rooster Lighting also introduces the DMX control system which can be adjusted to make the rainbow display on three of Tainan's Bridges.

Tainan - An Yi Bridge

An Yiqiao now has full colour lighting display matched with intelligent DMX digital timing control. The colours of the bridge are timed to match the the colours of Tainan culture. Return to the harbour during the quiet of the night.
