Design Brief

In order to better convey the information of the bus stop to the public, the Kaohsiung City Government wishes to remove the current time display sign of the bus station and redesign it to show the time of the bus to the station. This will reduce the anxiety of passengers unsure of when and if their bus will arrive on time. 86.8% of public respondants in a survey agreed with the project and that in the change, the design should also consider the implementation of solar LED smart signage. 

Lighting Design

To meet the requirements of the design brief, Rooster Lighting developed a ground breaking design for the route roller and panel. Each route can be independatly removed and replaced if needed and the light drum is internally illuminated to provide excellent visibility to night time passengers of the bus service. In combination of solar technology on the roof of the bus station, the design enhances illumination and reduces the power consumption. Rooster Lighting continues to improve and innovate with their design strategies to provide Taiwan with convenient and comfortable urban life experiences.
