Road Lighting Design｜South Gate Portal - "Gaoping" Bridge

Location

Connecting Kaohsiung City to Pingtung City, is the Gaoping Bridge. While all the roads and bridges traditionally use the same style vertical pole street light, the Gaoping Bridge has a unique design. The simple curved long lines on top of a squat vertical column differentiate Gaoping Bridge to the rest of the South. 

Lighting Design

When the evening falls, the 250W high-pressure sodium lamp begins to light up. It is like a huge lantern which embraces and welcomes those passing by. It brings a visual comfort and spiritual feeling to the driving experience. Rooster Lighting demonstrates a high level of craftsmanship to achieve this new design, where patterned along the outward and inward curve of the arching bridge, the mood and visual serenity of lighting is embraced.
