Landscape Lighting Design｜Dadong Culture and Art Center

Location

The newly completed Dadong Culture and Art Center has four buildings including multi function performing hall, exhibition hall, an art and education center and a library. The library is the first art library in Taiwan. Its outdoor space is decorated with public art and landscape design, and provides new base for cyclists and recreational activity around the MRT system.

Lighting Design

Zhang Malone's unique architectural landscape design incorporates the landscape lighting into the art and design of the landscape. The design intent is to turn the lighting fixtures into enlarged beansprouts. Rooster Lighting demonstrates excellent craftsmanship to deliver a quality in line with the architectural designers intent and vision for the landscape. The light poles are illuminated and provide rhythm with their variation in height. The warm light can be see in the art center at night reminding those of the artistic atmosphere which is in the south of Taiwan.
