Bridge Lighting Design｜Dahanxi Night Light

Location

The bridge holds a true importance to the its location at the intersection of rivers and roads in the Luhan Creek. The waterfront lighting scupture adds an earthly romance to the already wonderous phenomenoms of the landscape with its icy colours. The bridge lighting adds new splendour to New Taipei City, creating an urban night time dream.

Lighting Design

The bridge side railing is used as the canvas to project colourful light on the features of the bridge. Full-colour projection lights have been implemented to express new saturated textures of the rainbow. Low-colour flood lights are also used in the pier bring leisure to the bridge. 

The LED full-colour lights are connected by "point" into "lines", helping to express the light carving elements of Dahanxi. The bridge head flood lights emphasise the Y-shaped piers. From an overall light viewing perspective, the lighting design presents new aesthetics and faces on the waterfront, giving a new life to the night time of Dahanxi.
