New Inclusive Park - All-aboard the Pirate Ship!

Yongda Community Park is the first park in Pingtung County to be designed with interactive equipment. The theme of the playground is a pirate ship, surrounded by white sand, attracting children's curiosity and attention.

Lighting Design

Pingtung is located in the tropic region of Taiwan. During the daytime, the temperature is soaring high. Most parents will take their children for a walk in the evening, when playgrounds are too dark to play in. But not in Yongda Community Park, thanks to the clever lighting design from Rooster Lighting. The lighting here provides a safe environment for play and enhances the playful atmosphere and imagination of being on a pirate ship sailing through the waters at night. The ripples of water are projected onto the white sands like waves on the great ocean. Inside and outside the cabin of the ship, wall lamps and LED wall washers provide the light for safe playful passage in and around the ship's hull. The red light at the top of the mast acts as the indication for nighttime sailing. Around the park are leaf shape landscape lights guiding parents and their children in and out of the park.
