Festival Lighting Design｜Pingtung Zhongshan Park Annual Festival
Year of the Monkey
Pingtung Zhongshan Park holds their annual festival with the theme representing the monkey for the Year of the Monkey. Zhonghshan Park is built with a variety of colours and lighting designs. The dreamy fruit flower and fruit mountain wonderland is blessed by the monkeys with auspicious joy, bringing good luck to the citizens of Taiwan for the coming year.
Lighting Design
The larger landscape design of the light festival in the park is called "Flower and Fruit Wonderland". Pingtung is known as the flower and fruit paradise and heaven, therefore being a special symbol for Rooster Lighting to consider in their lighting design. Our incorporations of the magical fruits has recieved enthusiastic praise from the public visitors where thousands have come to take photos and bring people closer towards the new year. The main entrance to Coconut Grove Avenue utilises colourful flood lights to create the rainbow effect of the fruit's colours on the ground. The innvative light sculptures jump away from the traditional sculpture with the special integration of art and light. With the use of acrylic imagery design we also incorporate the concept of the P-Bike, "Pingtung Bike" to present a healthy and vibrant city image.
