Field background

The Cijin Tunnel, which was excavated during the Japanese occupation and penetrated Qihou Mountain, was originally a military combat preparation tunnel with a total length of 88 meters, connecting the Cijin Bay and the cliff. After renovation in 2005, it was converted into a tourist attraction and will be renovated in 2022. It has been opened into a starlight tunnel so that tourists can stroll or ride bicycles and enjoy the coastal scenery.

Lighting design

The Rooster lighting team carefully designed 10 different themed light and shadow animations to create a fantasy immersive experience. The underwater aurora outlines an underwater world full of boundless darkness; Cijin Fun shows the color of Cijin's sea and sky, watching the big ships entering the harbor under the beautiful sunset; Firefly World deliberately creates small fireflies shuttling in the tunnel, as if traveling through a time and space tunnel. Childhood; programming makes people immerse themselves in exploring technology and the futuristic cyberspace. In addition, there are different themed light and shadow animations such as Impression of Cijin, Blue Danube, Coming of Thunder, Shuttle, Christmas, and Happy Fireworks, allowing passengers to stroll in the new colorful light corridor and feel the romantic atmosphere amidst the gorgeous special effects.
