Field background
Yongan Conch Cultural Experience Park is located on the north shore of Yongan Fishing Port in Xinwu District, Taoyuan City. It covers an area of 5.6 hectares and includes the overall design of the square, parking lot and a 2-story conch museum. The museum contains cultural exhibition space, light food shop, office and conference Space, etc., the upper floor is planned as a semi-outdoor viewing platform. Visitors can enjoy the sunset and beautiful panoramic view of Yongan Fishing Port from the platform, making Yongan Fishing Port not only a simple fishing port, but also a dazzling art park.
Xinwu is a land of plenty in Taoyuan City, and Yong'an Fishing Port is the only Hakka fishing port in Taiwan. Local seafarers use marine resources to derive a unique local culture, including fishing, conch blowing and stone fishing, all of which are traditional Hakka fishing. In the fish method, the appearance of the Conch Museum uses the "conch" shape as the architectural design concept, refining the shape of the conch into simple and beautiful lines. The unique thread curve of the conch is transformed into an architectural three-dimensional quotation, presenting the image of a sea visitor and a low-key attitude. The base environment is integrated into one, and "Blowing Conch (Pendu)" is transformed into a landscape art of sound. It is hoped that this will create a field of marine Hakka culture experience education, thereby promoting the function of the tourism industry and creating a new highlight of marine Hakka culture.

Lighting design
In addition to being a building with a unique shape, the Conch Museum also has a beautiful semi-outdoor viewing platform where visitors can enjoy the sea view and sunset of Yong'an Fishing Port.
Therefore, the architectural lighting is designed to echo the setting sun, wrapping the Conch Pavilion building with warm color temperature lights, presenting its architectural features in a low-key and restrained way. The surrounding area is also equipped with landscaped high and low lights to create a comfortable light environment in the cultural park, allowing all visitors to enjoy the gentle sea breeze at night.
The waterproof linear lamp (QT25) of Rooster Lighting is used to outline the beautiful lines of the groove thread image on the outside of the building. The semi-outdoor viewing platform on the upper floor is equipped with a projection-type high lamp (EN12) with adjustable projection angle. The bright curved roof and the function of lighting the ground create a warm space for people to relax physically and mentally and watch the sea.
The lower corridor and the stairs leading to the upper floor use warm color temperature wall lamps to provide basic safety lighting. The outdoor park landscape walkway connecting the entire area is equipped with warm color temperature down-illuminated full-circle landscape high lights and low lights (BA29). It provides 360-degree ground lighting with no blind spots, and creates a lighting atmosphere that allows visitors to feel at ease and relax while strolling through warm and bright lights. Walking from the parking lot to the back door of the Conch House, you can find a sculptural wall covered with rusted steel plates. The lighting technique of built-in linear lights allows the light to shine through the holes and create light strips below, creating a lighting image that echoes the sky and the ocean.
In addition, the indoor space uses high color temperature ceiling lights and adjustable lighting angle ceiling track lights in response to different regional lighting purposes and needs, providing a more concise and bright high-brightness white light effect, creating a warm light that is different from outdoor lighting atmosphere.
The Yongan Lighting Design Team relies on its rich lighting experience and the architectural construction team to carefully plan the most appropriate lighting for the park to highlight the unique appearance of the building. The aesthetics of the building make the Yongan Conch Cultural Experience Park at night not only as good as during the day, but also at night Through the washing of lighting, it creates a gradient beauty of light and dark that is different from that of daytime.
