Landscape lighting design｜Kaohsiung City Birthday Park
The egg-shaped building symbolizes the birth of life after breaking its shell.
Kaohsiung Birthday Park is located at the junction of Siwei 3rd Road and Lingya 1st Road, Lingya District. The former site of the park is flat, perfectly square in shape, and filled with illegal buildings. Under the maintenance and construction of the Public Works Bureau and the addition of landscape lighting, this park has become a Lingya Park. It is the first choice for the citizens of Ya District to create artistic works of art and leisure green belt.
The unique building shape in the park is mainly egg-shaped digital, called the House of Life, nurturing the image of the source of life that is about to break out of the shell, a garden to share the joy of birth, create unforgettable memories, and become the romance of the city in the cement forest Oasis of light.
Lighting design
The transparent glass trusses are paired with a light-transmitting waterproof cover. The indoor light of the House of Life is scattered through the ambiguous interface. It feels like breaking out of the shell. Many people are curious about what is inside. The main building is surrounded by wooden stairs on both sides. Connected to the wooden platform on the second floor of the building, the egg-shaped shell unveiling platform is equipped with LED blue linear lights at the bottom to create a border glowing effect. When many citizens pass by, they will be attracted by the bright lights in the Birthday Park. The wooden platform is dyed with different colors. The changing colors and faint purple light give the House of Life a sense of mystery.
The pedestrian trails in the entire district use shaped landscape lights to create safe and comfortable light, and create bright outdoor art performance spaces through high-quality lighting plans. The combination of landscape lighting and the lighting planning of the House of Life creates a cityscape at night. Another beautiful feature.
