Field background

The Qishan Sugar Factory started producing sugar in 1911. It was formerly known as the "Qiwei Sugar Factory". It was one of the modern sugar factories at that time and was once a representative of Qishan's prosperity and economy. After the Qishan Sugar Factory stopped making sugar in 2002, although the site Abandoned and idle, it still retains complete chimneys, lime kilns and sugar-making equipment, Japanese-style offices, red brick warehouses, precious steam locomotives and old trees, which are full of cultural and historical features and greenery.

The Urban Development Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government cooperated with Taiwan Sugar Corporation to transform the old sugar factory in Qishan into the "East Jiu Road Station, Qishang Agricultural Innovation Park", which will serve as a base for promoting new agricultural development in East Kaohsiung. It is the end of National Highway 10 entering the east The first stop of District 9 in Kaohsiung Mountain City, it has an excellent location and convenient transportation, covering an area of 8.6 hectares. After renovation by the Municipal Development Bureau, it has become a new base for agricultural industry and tourism.

Lighting design

At night, the lights turn on, giving the Qitang Agricultural Innovation Park a heart-warming and beautiful appearance after the transformation of the original sugar factory. The entrance park name signboard uses LED linear lights and floodlights to create a golden texture. In terms of light effect, the walking trails in the park use diamond-shaped downlight landscape high lights (ED19) to provide warm and bright safety lighting, providing visitors with a lighting effect for visual guidance at night.

The red brick warehouse uses the wall-washing technique of down-lighting wall lamps. The texture of the red brick wall is smudged through the warm light, depicting the texture beauty of the gradient of light and dark. The tall chimney is even more majestic and eye-catching in the projection of high-brightness LED floodlights. It shines in the dark sky; the rusted iron surface of the sink turns into a beautiful art object under the colorful and changing water ripple effect lights; and high-brightness modeling projections are set up in each main passage and parking lot. High-light lamps provide comfortable and bright basic safety lighting.
