Interactive landscape lights Golden Orbs｜Gasworks Plaza, Australia
Collaborated with local artists in Brisbane, Australia to design the interactive landscape light Golden Orbs installed on the gas drum monument at the entrance of the Newstead three-in-one building, which won the 2014 New Zealand-Australia Illuminating Engineering Society Best Lighting Design Award.
The combination of human and light interaction art and technology
Rooster Lighting collaborated with local artists Michael Candy and Meagan Streader in Brisbane, Australia to complete the interactive lighting fixture GOLDEN ORBS full of art and technology and installed it in the Gasworks Newstead super large three-in-one building project (commercial/retail/residential) ) at the entrance to the century-old gas drum ruins.
This project won the 2014 Illuminating Engineering Society of New Zealand and Australia (IESANZ) Queensland Best Lighting Design Award.
Lighting design
Customized LEDs with a cloud-like shape are interactive lighting fixtures that respond to the movement of people around them. A total of 10 "cloud-shaped lamps" of different forms are hung on the outer structure of the century-old gas drum. In addition, the cameras installed on each lamp collect people's movement patterns and wirelessly transmit them to the central computer for analysis and issue instructions to the 10 lamps to make changes in the lighting show.
Lighting design
The changing form of the light is designed using the human body's nerve conduction method as a reference. This unique interactive art lamp will give this historical site a new look. The detection cameras on the lamps capture the movements of nearby people and convert them into digital signals to control the lighting and extinguishing modes of each ball. When more movements are detected, the flashing of the balls will become more obvious.
With our many years of experience in the design and manufacturing of customized lighting fixtures in government cases, we have successfully gained the trust of Australian artists and investors. We actively communicated with the artists and integrated the design, R&D, production and testing units to completely and safely deliver all the lamps to overseas customers in just 9 weeks.
