Field background

Kaohsiung has promoted the Kaohsiung Railway underground project since 2006. The original ground railway from Zuoying to Fengshan District has been transformed into a 15-kilometer Kaohsiung Green Parkway, and the Love River Landscape Bridge represents the last 1% of the Green Parkway project in 2021. , the old iron bridge of the Taiwan Railway's West Lingang Line Railway was converted into a pedestrian landscape bridge, and is now renamed "Xieguang Bridge".

Lighting design

The railings on the slanted bridge are equipped with a lighting control system to echo the color changes of the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center (blue, pink, yellow). The original cable overhead columns on the bridge were transformed into landscape high lights to provide safety lighting. The lights at night make the slanted bridge ( Old Iron Bridge) has become the highlight of crossing the Love River.
