Field background

The Pingtung County Government registered 72 Japanese-style houses in Chenggong District of Shengli New Village and Chongren New Village as historical buildings in 2007, and officially named them "Shengli Xingcun Creative Life Park" in 2018. This project hopes to use Japanese-style houses The lighting design of the hotel enhances the overall light environment of the park and highlights the historical texture of the historical site at night; it also extends the pedestrian flow period of the park into the night, connects the scenic spots and business districts around the train station, and jointly enhances the overall nighttime economy.

Lighting design

In the Victory Star Village, which is the largest historical building complex of Japanese-style residences in Taiwan, there is a Japanese Style landscape lamp (FC15) carefully manufactured by us. The bamboo material covered in it not only reflects the use of local architecture. In addition to the materials, it also creates a sense of interactive connection with the overall environment.

The lighting plan proposed by the Rooster lighting team is to present the overall street outline of the military village by lighting the outline of each house and matching it with shaped landscape lights. Therefore, we use thin and light linear lights (QT25 series) hidden under the eaves and according to their The shapes are arranged to present the outline of the house to achieve the lighting technique of seeing the light but not seeing the lights. To make the architectural texture clearer and bring humanistic water to the old houses, we work together with the county government and local businesses to light up the street corners of the military village.

We hope that through lighting design, everyone who visits or returns to Pingtung can feel the different historical textures of this city. Day after day, year after year, we can open the door of the military dependents village in a corner of the city. , listen to the story of Pingtung.
